Superb, 8-pieced WWI- ie. TR-period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') showing resp. a: 'KvK II.Kl. m. Schw.',a: FKK 1914-18 o. Schw.', two: WH (Heeres) 'DA' (of the: '1. u. 3. St.') and four Austrian WWI-commemorative- ie. service medals
The truly attractive - larger-sized- ie. eight-pieced! - WWI- ie. Third Reich-period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') respectively shows a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz der II. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: war-merits-cross second-class with swords), a bronze-toned, WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schwertern'), a: golden-toned Austrian WWI-period commemorative medal, a: WH (Heeres or Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnung der 1.Stufe für 25 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: first-class loyal-service medal for 25 years of loyal-service), a: 'WH-Dienstauszeichnung der 3.Stufe für 12 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: third-class loyal-service medal for 12 years of loyal-service), an: Austrian WWI loyal-service medal (for 10-years of loyal-service) and two Austrian, WWI-period '1914-1918'-commemorative-medals, all eight awards coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All eight awards are truly nicely preserved examples that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted on their period ribbons. Both 'WH-Dienstauszeichnungen' are very nicely preserved (and truly frosted golden-toned!) examples that both retain their period-attached (and equally golden-toned and nicely preserved!) eagle-devices. All 4 Austrian commemorative- ie. service-medals are nicely preserved examples that fully retain their period-applied finish. The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schwertern' shows a clearly present makers-designation that reads: 'G&S' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The entire 'Spange' (which is of the 'non-detachable-pattern') comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and is 'backed' with a piece of greyish-white-coloured linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The medal-bar was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was never before part of a collection. The 'Spange' is most certainly a period-compiled- and/or worn piece and is NOT a post-war compilation or alike and was kept as such for decades by the (I deem) Austrian WWI and WWII-veteran. Simply an attractive - and truly decorative! - eight-pieced medal-bar that is not that easily found and that is most certainly accordingly priced!
