This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - 'variant-type'- and/or neatly maker- (ie. 'L/22'-) marked, silver-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten Abzeichen in Silber') as was produced by the unusually seen: 'Glaser u. Söhne'-company and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The typically 'thin-shaped' badge - which is executed in greyish-silver-toned, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') - shows moderate age and/or wear and has a correct - and/or fully functional - pin- ie. pin/catch set-up as to be expected. The badge has never been cleaned and shows some normal - albeit minimally darkened - tarnish: however, most of its perod finish is nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge is neatly maker-marked with the (LDO) makers'-designation: 'L/22' on its back signifying that it deals with a typical WB as was produced by the 'Glaser u. Söhne'-company as based in the town of Dresden. In any case a desirable - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - silver-class WB that is with certainty not that often offered for sale!
