Attractive - albeit mis-matched - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern, 'standard-issued'- and/or rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier eines Pionier-Bataillons'
This is an attractive - albeit mis-matched but most certainly worn as such - pair of (I deem) 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Pionier-Bataillons' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army-enigineers' battailon) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have both the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'- based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each - show the neat black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured and/or typical woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do the straps show the typical ('standard-pattern') silverish-toned NCO-braid attached and come naturally mounted onto their period-attached tongues attached and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat pair only shows moderate wear and/or age but is, nevertheless, still nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat - albeit mis-matched! - NCO-type, 'Pioniere'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
