Attractive - and scarcely encountered! - bright-golden-toned 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette' showing a golden-class 'Pferdepleger-Abzeichen' that comes mounted onto a wooden-based 'standard'
The attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - bright-golden-toned (and I deem typically zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) so-called: 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette' showing a detailed, golden-class 'Pferdepleger-Abzeichen' (or: badge for the care of horses) that comes (period) mounted onto a wooden-based 'standard' and that comes in an overall nicely preserved condition. The unusually square-sized piece shows minimal wear and/or age but nevertheless retains a nicely preserved surface without showing any real defaults. The plaque - which measures approximately 7,5 x 5,5 cms. - comes mounted onto a wooden-based frame (ie. 'standard') that measures 13 x 10 cms. - has I deem never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece (ie. badge) is, however, void of the capital 'R'-character on the bottom of the badge and is therefore of a post-war-production. Nevertheless is this an attractive - and with certainty not that often seen! - decorative supporter plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Auszeichnungsplakette') commemorating the care of horses!
