Aluminium-based, WH (Heeres) ie. 'Infanterie-Truppen'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation: '1. Schtz.Felders.Kp. 23' and that comes mounted onto its period cord as issued and worn
This is an attractive example of a silverish-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based WH (Heeres) ie. 'Infanterie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '1. Schtz.Felders.Kp. 23' (and as such being a disc that was I deem intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the: first company of the 'Schützen Feld-Ersatz-Kp' or I deem infantry-field-replacement unit that was placed under the 'Infanterie-Division' numbered: '23') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc shows a (roughly, period-engraved!) bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type A') something that is more often observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) ie. 'Infanterie o. Schützen'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
