Rarely found, larger-sized- and/or darker-green-toned so-called: 'Dienstplakette als Ausweismarke für die Angehörigen des Betriebsdienstes des XI. Olympischen Spiele 1936' held in Berlin that is bearing a unique serial-numeral that reads: '0625'
This is an attractive - and with certainty rarely found! - larger-sized- and/or darker-green-toned (and I deem 'Bakelite'-based!) so-called: 'Dienstplakette als Ausweismarke für die Angehörigen des Betriebsdienstes des XI. Olympischen Spiele 1936' held in Berlin that is bearing a unique serial-numeral that reads: '0625' and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and only moderately worn- ie. used-), condition. The larger-sized 'service-brooch' has an approximate diameter of approximately 6,8 cms. was worn by the specific staff involved in organising the Olympic Games in 1936: these badges existed in various colours and were uniquely serial-numbered (by means of a firmly attached, aluminium-based 'number-plate' as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do they show a very detailed (possibly genuine silver) and 'inlayed' olympic-logo and text that reads: 'XI. Olympiade Berlin 1936'. The piece - that comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catsch-set-up - shows a superimposed maker-designation on its back that reads: 'Walgo, Kierspe-Bhf. Westf.' as always encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). This piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive 'service-brooch' ie. 'Dienstplakette als Ausweismarke für die Angehörigen des Betriebsdienstes des XI. Olympischen Spiele 1936' that is accordingly priced!
