This is a truly attractive example of a neatly hand-embroidered, Waffen-SS so-called: 'RzM-styled', enlisted-mens'- (ie. typical NCO-) type collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Unterführer der Waffen-SS') depicting the 'runes'-insignia as was intended for usage by all Waffen-SS soldiers (ie. NCOs) throughout the war and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. I deem once tunic-attached-), condition. The nicely executed collar-tab shows some moderate age, wear and/or staining and originates from the USA where it was stored for decades as a so-called: 'veteran bring-back'-item. The collar-tab - which is excuted in bright-silver-coloured 'braid' onto a black-coloured and/or woolen- (ie. 'smooth'-type ie. 'moleskin'-based-) background - has a 'standard'-pattern- and/or brownish-coloured- and/or 'buckram'-based backing as is more often encountered. Simply a 100% garuanteed original SS NCO-type collar-tab: hard to find a more attractive example for a more interesting price!
