Attractive, WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special career arm-insignia as was intended for a: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or: farrier) being a neatly hand-embroidered 'variant' as executed on darker-green-coloured wool
I recently uncovered a small stack holding five identical examples of the WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special career arm-insignia (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by an army: 'Hufbeschlagmeister' (or: farrier), all five pieces coming in an overall very nice- (I deem simply never worn- nor even tunic-attached-), condition. The neat patches are all identically executed on a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and show (detailed and/or neatly hand-embroidered) 'horseshoe'-signs as executed in bright-yellow-coloured linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The neatly maker-marked patches (showing a blue-coloured albeit undecypherable ink-stamp) are nicely 'backed' with greyish-blue-coloured linnen as more often encountered. The patches show some minimal staining- ie. wrinkled appearance simply caused by decades of storage only. The price is naturally intended for one single piece. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive WH (Heeres) trade-/specialist badge for a competitive price!
