Superb - and neatly hand-embroidered! - 'Waffen-SS' officers'-pattern 'runes'-collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Führer der Waffen-SS') being an example that still retains its 'RzM'-etiket and that comes in a 'virtually mint' condition
The very attractive - nowadays hard to find and simply never used nor tunic-attached! - collar-tab (ie. 'Kragenspiegel für Führer') is of the (typical) early- (ie. mid-) war-pattern that was intended for usage by the various Waffen-SS, comissioned- (ie. officers'-) staff throughout the war and comes as stated in a wonderful- (and simply never used- nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint/unissued'-), condition. The tab shows the twisted, silver-coloured braid and is executed in black-coloured, smooth-type wool as to be expected. It shows the bright-silver-coloured and/or somewhat shiny, hand-embroidered 'runes'-signs and also shows a 'standard'-pattern beige-brownish-coloured and/or: 'buckram'-based backing as to be expected: moreover, does the tab shows its (period-attached), paper-based 'RzM'-etiket (as can be observed on the pictures). The piece shows extraordinary hand-embroidery and/or craftmenship. It should be noted that these early ie mid-war-pattern, 'Waffen-SS', officers'-pattern-'runes'-collar-tabs can easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that I have priced this attractive piece accordingly!
