Neat, WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as intended for a: 'Geprüfter Schirrmeister' (being a machine-embroidered 'variant'
This is an attractive - and presumably issued and moderately used- nor worn - example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for a: 'Geprüfter Schirrmeister' (or: qualified equipment-administration staff-member ie. NCO) being a neatly machine-embroidered variant that comes mounted onto a darker-green-coloured- and woolen-based background and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- ie. I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat patch is executed on darker-green-coloured wool and shows a detailed (and neatly machine-embroidered!) Gothic-styled 'G'-character. The patch - which is backed with greyish-black-coloured linnen as more often - shows the additionally attached silver-coloured 'border' denoting that the soldier ie. NCO who wore it (ie. for whom it was intended) had succesfully passed several tests and could therefore be regarded as a: 'Geprüfter Schirrmeister'. The patch shows clear usage and staining, simply caused by decades of storage and moderate wear. Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen')!
