This is a very attractive - and actually extremely rarely encountered! - first-pattern, officers'- (ie. NCO-) pattern, so-called: BZP (ie. 'Bahnschutz-Polizei') visor-cap-cocarde (ie. 'Kokarde für Schirmmütze des BZP') being a detailed example as executed in bright-golden-toned- and/or aluminium-based metal and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never cap-attached- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. These attractive cap-cocardes (of the first pattern) were worn on the specific blue-coloured BZP-visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and were only used for a very short period of time (late 1936/beginning 1937) after which they were replaced by the 'regular-styled' BZP-cap-cocardes. The neat piece which has a diameter ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 6,5 cms. retains both its (also aluminium-based and of course still functional and never bent) prongs in place: it also bears an impressed: 'RzM'-designation which is hard to find but most certainly present (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - first-pattern, BZP (ie. 'Bahnschutz-Polizei') related visor-cap cocarde that was used by the members of this lesser known police-related TR-organisation. I deem that I have priced this interesting piece according to its obvious rarity and/or desirability!
