Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant des Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises V'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless not that often encountered! - WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage (and used!) by a: 'Leutnant des Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises V' (or: junior-officer ie. lieutnant who was part of the recruitment-troops within the area of 'Wehrkreis V' (being a larger area situated in the province of Baden and Württemberg and having its staff residing in the town of Stuttgart) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11,6 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based, Gothic-styled- and/or: smaller-sized) so-called: 'W'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and equally-styled (Roman-type) 'V'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of: 'Leutnant'. Both devices shows some regular age and/or minimal tarnish. The board - that shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining - never had a tongue attached (it is a specimen of the 'sew-in'-type as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres' officer-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Wehr-Ersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises V': too bad that it is only a single example!
