Attractive, 3-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') showing resp. a WWI-period: 'FKK 1914-18 ohne Schw.' and two WWII-period: WH (Heeres or KM) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnungen für 4 u. 12 Jahre Treue Dienste'
This is an attractive - and is this combination not that often seen albeit moderately used- and/or worn - example of a three-pieced, WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period medal-bar (ie. 'Ordenspange') that is respectively showing a golden-bronze-toned, WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwertern' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 ohne Schwertern'), a: WH (Heeres or Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnung für 12 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: loyal-service medal for twelve years of loyal service) and a: WH (Heeres or Kriegsmarine) so-called: 'Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: or loyal-service medal for 4 years of loyal service) all three awards coming in an overall nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. All three awards are truly nicely preserved examples without showing any defaults that seem to have never been cleaned nor polished: they come in an equally minimally tarnished- ie. dusty (ie. used) condition and come naturally mounted onto their period ribbons. The FKK 1914-18 is a neat example that shows a clear makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'P.M.') The detail is nicely preserved: it has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished and has an attractive and minimally tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). Both 'Dienstauszeichnungen für 12 u. 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' are both very nicely preserved examples retaining their golden- and/or silver-toned finish and do show their (period-attached) eagle-devices (as can be seen on the pictures). All three medals come in an equally tarnished- (ie. somewhat dusty) condition and also come mounted onto a neat (metal-based- and detachable) 'plate' (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes period-mounted as a so-called: non-detachable 'Ordenspange' that retains a (still functional) pin-ie. catch set-up and that is nicely 'backed' with a piece of field-grey-coloured wool. Simply an attractive and desirable 'Ordenspange' showing an unusual combination and that can be mounted onto almost any TR-period-tunic!
