Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) 'M41 o. M43'-pattern, 'standard-issue'-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Nachrichten-Regiments o. Abteilungs'
This is an attractive - and nowadays not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO-type, so-called: 'M41 o. M43'-pattern shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterklappen für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as piped in the typical bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Nachrichten-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: senior-NCO who served within an army signals'-regiment ie. unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit just moderately used-, worn- and/or: most certainly carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The truly attractive straps - which measure approximately 11,2 cms. sized in length each as more often encountered - have the 'standard-type'- and/or typical field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and show the neat bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelber'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type branchcolour ie. piping, attached. Next to this, they show two (fully matching) sets of (silver-coloured, regular-sized- and/or zinc-based) sets of pips period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps were only minimally used- and/or worn and do show some moderate staining and/or age simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). They come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues and have the neat 'standard'-type- and/or siverish-coloured- (ie. non-'sub-dued'-pattern) 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of: 'Oberfeldwebel' (ie. sergeant first-class). Simply a very attractive, mid- (ie. later-) war-period shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel eines Nachrichten-Regiments o. Abteilungs' and that is accordingly priced!
