Attractive - and unusally seen! - multi-coloured- (ie. painted!), smaller-sized so-called: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen in Gold für KK-Gewehr 1944 des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg'
This is a truly very attractive - and very nicely preserved! - example of a multi-coloured (ie. painted!), so-called: 'Gauleistungsabzeichen in Gold für KK-Gewehr 1944 des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' being a smaller-sized and/or typical circular-shaped 'variant'-example that was specifically awarded for a specific shooting-contest held on the 'Gau'-level (using a small-caliber weapon ie. 'KK-Gewehr') being a non-maker marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed - and somewhat smaller-sized - badge (having an approximate diameter of only 2,5 cms.) is executed in multi-coloured and nicely painted (bright-golden-toned) zinc (ie. 'Feinzink'): it is void of any damage and retains a nicely preserved (bright) golden-toned finish and green-coloured, painted border (just some minimal staining ie. paint-loss is visible). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and fully unaltered pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 'A61KA' and wherein it is given an estimated value of 150 Eu. Simply an attractive - and later-war-period! - shooting-award that is offered for an interesting price!
