Neat, bright golden-toned, Bulgarian WWII-period military-cross: 'For Bravery' (or: in Bulgarian- ie. Cyrilic language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') being an example of the 2nd Class with swords and that comes as issued and/or worn
These neat, bright golden-toned, Bulgarian WWII-period military-crosses: 'For Bravery' (or in Bulgarian language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') were awarded to lower-rank soldiers and/or NCOs for exceptional actions in the face of remarkable danger. The example on offer here, is (I deem) a specimen of the second class of this award (something that can ebe deducted from both the bright golden-toned finish as as well as the non-confectioned ribbon). The piece came together with its nicely confectioned- (ie. pre-folded-) piece of period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and was nicely preserved: it was never polished nor cleaned and is still a tiny bit dirty but very detailed. It retains a neat, somewhat tarnised golden-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive medal was recently found at a private-household in Germany and was uncovered amongst some other belongings of a German NCO. Simply a very decorative Bulgarian, WWII-period military-cross of the third class: 'For Bravery' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
