Superb - and fully matching! - 'Gendarmerie'-related NCO-type shoulderboard-pair for a: 'Wachtmeister der Gendarmerie' (that comes still 'packed' in its period wrapping-'Banderolle' marked: 'Lendvay - Wien 62')

I recently uncovered a small lot comprising of five - fully identical- and matching! - pairs of these interesting 'Gendarmerie'- (ie. 'Polizei'-) related, NCO-type shoulderboard-pairs (that originated from the left-overs of an old tailor-shop) that were intended for usage by WWII-period police-staff holding the rank of: 'Wachtmeister der Gendarmerie' (ie. police-sergeant) and that come all five in an absolutely 'mint- ie. unissued'- and/or simply never used- nor tunic-attached, condition. The boards come all mounted onto their (typically smaller-sized) tongues and do measure approximately 10,6 cms. in length and have the typical (somewhat dub-dued) silverish-grey- (ie. brownish-) coloured 'upperdecks' as mounted onto a bright-orange-coloured (and/or linnen-based) 'underlay' as to be expected. The sets came still 'packed' in their period, paper-based- and period-attached so-called: wrapping-'Banderolles', mentioning their maker being a company named the: 'Lendvay' based in the town of Vienna/Austria (as can be seen on the pictures). The pairs do all show some truly minimal age ie. staining, simply caused by decades of storage only. My asking-price is naturally intended per single pair. Simply a great occasion to acquire a neat 'Gendarmerie'-related, NCO-type shoulderboard-pair for a competitive price!
