Attractive, genuine-leather-based- and/or blackish-brown-coloured, 'later-war-pattern' and 'simplified' WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe etc.) so-called: K98 bayonet-frog (ie. 'Tragetasche o. Koppelschuh')
This is an attractive - and in this nicely preserved- (ie. just moderately used!) condition with certainty scarcely encountered! - black- (ie. brownish) coloured- and/or genuine leather-based, 'simplified' and/or 'later-war-pattern' WH (Heeres, Luftwaffe etc.), so-called: K98 bayonet-frog (or: 'Tragetasche o. Koppelschuh'). The frog - which is made-out of fine-grained leather as to be expected - shows complete and/or undamaged (white-coloured-) stitching and unaltered rivets but is - as more often - void of a makers-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). The frog has - I deem - clearly been issued and used but will nevertheless be very hard to be upgraded: it shows some minimal staining ie. dust simply caused by regular wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is naturally fully souple and/or functional. It should, moreover, be noted that this is a genuine WWII-item and not a modern copy or alike. Simply a desirable WH-related, later-war-period WH-equipment-item that is I deem priced according to its obvious scarcity and/or desirability!
