Moderately worn - albeit regrettably single! - bright-red-piped so-called: 'Allgemeine-HJ'-shoulderstrap as intended for an: 'HJ-Scharführer' who served within the 'Bann 241' (241 = 'Bann Oberbergisch' situated in the 'Gebiet West-Mittelrhein')
This is an attractive - regrettably single and just moderately worn - example of a bright-red-piped, so-called: 'Allgemeine'-HJ (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'HJ-Scharführer' who served within the 'Bann 241' (241 = 'Bann Oberbergisch' situated in the 'Gebiet West-Mittelrhein/Köln-Aachen') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or carefully tunic- ie. shirt-removed-), condition. The strap has lost its paper-based so-called: 'RzM'-etiket (just some mininal glue-remains are present but the etiket has been lost over the years). The strap - which is executed in black-coloured linnen, having red-embroidered '241'-numerals and bright-red-coloured- (and rayon-based) piping attached - comes without tongue as found: it was worn with two removable 'snaps' (which are both still present). The strap measures 11 cms. in length each as is usually encountered and does show some minimal age, wear and/or staining simply caused by decades of storage and moderate wear. The strap shows 2 (typical smaller-sized- and zinc-based) rank-pips denoting the rank of a: 'HJ-Scharführer'. Simply an attractive - and actually not that commonly encountered! - so-called: 'Allgemeine-HJ'-shoulderstrap that belonged to a 'HJ-Bann' based in the 'Gebiet West-Mittelrhein/Köln-Aachen'!
