Stunning, German Red Cross (ie. 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz' or 'DRK') greyish-coloured- and/or triangular-shaped and neatly hand-embroidered (ie. typically officers'-pattern!) arm-eagle entitled: 'Kreisstelle Friesland'
This is a very attractive - and actually rarely found! - example of a German Red Cross (ie. 'DRK' or 'Deutsches Rotes Kreuz') greyish-coloured- and/or (typically) triangular-shaped and neatly hand-embroidered (ie. typically officers'-pattern!) arm-eagle entitled: 'Kreisstelle Friesland' that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem most certainly issued- and/or minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The patch is neatly 'backed' with a piece of black-toned linnen as is more often encountered and shows fantastic detail: it is a wonderfull example of this technique as employed in the days (as can be seen on the pictures). The armbadge - which is just a tiny bit stained ie. dirty - was intended for the various commissoned. medical-staff working at one of the medical institutes based in the German region of Friesland (ie. its surroundings). These nicely hand-embroidered, officers'-pattern DRK-triangles can easily be considered 'fairly rare' and come most certainly not that often for sale. Simply a truly attractive and/or scarcely encountered DRK-related officers'-pattern uniform-eagle!
