Attractive - and fully complete! - 5-pieced SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') grouping comprising of - amongst others an award-booklet (ie. 'Urkunde') as was issued for an: 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze' to the: 'SA-Mann' named: Hans Biedermann
This is an attractive - and fully complete! - 5-pieced SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') grouping comprising of an: 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze' (being a neatly maker- ie. 'Berg u. Nolte'-marked example that is void of an impressed bearers'-number, a specific: 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze'-award-booklet (ie. 'Urkunde') that came stored in its period cover (ie. 'Schuber'), an: 'SA-Leistungsbuch', a smaller-sized: 'Besitzzeugnis' (or: citation) and an explantory-brochure entitled: 'Der Weg zum SA-Sportabzeichen' all items belonging to the: 'SA-Mann' named: Hans Biedermann born in 1916, all items coming in a wonderful- and truly nicely preserved, condition. The attractive - and I deem fairly early- (ie. eventually pre-) war-period - SA-sports-badge is as stated nicely maker-marked on its back with the makers'-designation: 'Berg u. Nolte - Lüdenscheid' and also bears the usually encountered inscription: 'Eigentum d. SA Sportabzeichen Hauptstelle' (as is visible on the back of the sword as always). The badge - which comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and fully unaltered pin- (ie. catch-) set-up - only shows some minimal wear and age but was never cleaned nor polished: the original- and/or (fairly dark-coloured- and truly golden-bronze-toned-) finish is almost fully present and/or neatly preserved (see pictures). Moreover, does this example retains most of its period-applied shiny finish (ie. 'Brennlack'). The badge is just a tiny bit stained ie. dirty caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage. The typical light-brownish-coloured - SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related so-called: award-booklet (ie. 'Urkunde') comes in an equally nice- (ie. not damaged nor denazified and/or fully filled-in-), condition. The typical, 'standard-issued'-type award-booklet (sized: 14,5 x 11 cms.) is a nicely preserved example having all its 28 pages present and in-place: it has not been 'damaged' whatsoever (and shows a fully preserved illustration of a golden-toned 'SA-Sportabzeichen in Bronze' on its cover) and comes in an overall nice (albeit with certainty issued- ie. used-), condition. The award-booklet shows a civil photo of Biedermann and shows all the regular entries as to be expected (as can also be seen on the pictures). The other documents come in an equally nicely preserved - and fully filled-in! - condition. Simply an attractive - and most certainly not that often found! - SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen') ie.: 'SA-Sportabzeichen'-grouping that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
