Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms) as intended for an officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie.: 'SS Untersturmführer')
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by an officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant) being a nicely embroidered example as executed on black-coloured, woolen material and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply never used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The piece - which is of the desirable 'embroidered pattern' - shows a single oakleaf-bar and square-sized- (and separately-attached!) 'rank-bar' signifying that it was intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Untersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant). The piece is just a tiny bit stained caused by decades of storage but is nevertheless nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not that often encountered! - neatly embroidered WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar!
