Silverish-toned - and partly enamelled! - N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a non-maker-marked example as was issued to commemorate a specific gathering entitled: 'Kreistreffen Osterholz - 1936 - in Aumund'
This is an attractive - silverish-toned, partly colourful enamelled and typical zinc (ie. tin- or: pot-metal-) based - N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: Veranstaltungsabzeichen) as was specifcally issued to commemorate a gathering entitled: 'Kreistreffen Osterholz - 1936 - in Aumund' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced (shield-shaped) badge - which is executed in silverish-toned- (ie. - I deem - zinc-based) metal showing enamelled parts - shows great detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty ie. stained). The (hollow-back) piece shows a detailed sailing-boat and provincial-reference (a key), and two swastika-devices coupled with the above-mentioned text. The shield-shaped badge - which is void of a makers'-designation - comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin-/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply a neat - and most certainly not that often encountered! - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie'!
