This is an attractive - and/or neatly detailed! - example of a (partly) hand-embroidered, WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'- (ie. NCO-) type cap-cocarde (ie: 'Kokarde für Schirmmütze') that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and most certainly once visor-cap-attached-), condition. This example is nicely hand-embroidered (and 'padded'!) using various kinds of (somewhat tarnished) golden-coloured braid on a darker-blue-coloured (and/or smooth woolen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, does this example show a neat metal- (ie. aluminium) based inner-cocarde (as can be seen on the pictures). This example - which is quite 'thick' in execution - is void of any staining ie. corroded areas (as can be seen on the pictures). The cocarde shows a black-coloured- and/or linnen-based 'backing' attached as more often observed (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat example that can naturally easily be attached onto any 'Kriegsmarine' officers'- (ie. NCO-) type 'Schirmmütze'!
