Superb - and fully matching! - WH (Luftwaffe) insignia-set comprising of a pair of white-piped NCO-type shoulderstraps, dito collar-tabs, silver NCO-braid and (white) collar-cord as was intended for usage by an: 'Uffz. der Hermann Göring Division'
This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty very scarcely encountered! - WH (Luftwaffe) insignia-set comprising of a pair of white- (ie. 'weisser'-) piped NCO-type shoulderstraps ('Schulterstücke für Uffz. der Luftwaffe'), a pair of white-coloured collar-tabs ('Kragenspiegel für Uffz. der Luftwaffe'), a small roll of silver-toned (ie. 'dotted'-style) NCO-braid and a piece of (white-coloured) collar-cord as was intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier' (ie. junior-sergeant) who served within the famous 'Hermann Göring Division' and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The straps - which never had any tongues attached and that were clearly intended as a pair of the 'sew-in'-type - measure approximately 10,9 cms. in length each and come in a wonderful condition, overall. They show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured (and woolen-type) piping attached and were carefully once tunic-removed (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair - which was as stated above only minimally used- and/or worn and that does show some obvious age and/or staining - is with certainty a 'standard-issued' ie. 'non-privately purchased'-pair: it just shows some minimal wear but is totally void of any damage or alike: it shows the silverish-coloured LW-type NCO-braid period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The (typical) woolen-based pair of white-coloured collar-tabs shows the (typical) beige-yellow-coloured, 'buckram-based backing' attached. Moreover, do they show each a (double) pair of zinc-based gulls (ie. 'Schwingen') attached. Next to these straps and tabs did the set came with a small roll of silver-toned (ie. 'dotted'-style) NCO-braid and a piece of (white-coloured) collar-cord as found. All six insignia-pieces were just moderately used and were clearly tunic-removed: they show some age, wear and/or minimal staining. This neat - and complete! - insignia-set was never part of a collection before and came as such from a private household in Germany. Simply a truly attractive 'Hermann Göring-Division'-related, NCO-type-insignia-set that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
