Superb, 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' being a maker- (ie. '60'-) marked example, as executed in zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes stored in its (scarcely seen!) 'Zellstoff'-based pouch by the maker: 'Katz u. Deyhle'
This is a truly very attractive - and in such completely untouched condition fairly unusually seen! - example of 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe' (or: air-raid warden medal 2nd class) being a neatly maker- (ie. '60'-) marked- and/or regular-weight-version as was executed in (bright & shiny) silver-toned, zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes stored in its original, carton- (ie. Zellstoff-) based pouch as was produced by the maker: 'Katz u. Deyhle' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem issued- albeit never worn nor even mounted-), condition. This example comes together with its original (non-confectioned, folded and/or approximately 19 cms. long-sized-) ribbon as found and issued. The medal was most certainly issued but never worn (it shows some dust and dirt simply caused by years of storage only) but retains great pronounced detail without showing any defaults. The award came still wrapped in its thin-shaped paper-based 'wrapping-paper' and comes mounted on its aluminium-based ring that shows the makers-mark: '60' (clearly denoting that this is a medal that was produced by the medal-producing company: 'Katz u. Deyhle' based in the town of Pforzheim). The pouch - which is scarcely seen in itself! - shows a printed makers'-mark on its back (that also reads: 'Katz u. Deyhle - Pforzheim'). The pouch comes also in an overall nice - and of course fully functional - condition: it just shows some minimal staining and minimal tears (caused by having been somewhat roughly opened). I deem that the sets' comparative scarcity justifies my asking-price. It will be very difficult to upgrade this untouched set!
