Superb - and fully matching! - pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern-, simplified WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually truly scarcely encountered! - pair of later-war-period-, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, 'simplified' WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the infantry-troops) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- nor worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the neat, white-coloured and/or typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps - which originate from a larger cloth- and/or insignia-collection I recently acquired - are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material (see pictures). The straps have the standard-pattern, silverish-coloured- (ie. somewhat sub-dued) NCO-braid and four (smaller-sized- and/or greyish-silver-toned, zinc-based) pips period-attached and come naturally mounted on their functional tongues. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern-, NCO-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply a very attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'-, M44-pattern NCO-type 'Infanterie'-pair that was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Infanterie-Truppen'!
