Commemorative - and truly unusally seen! - bronze-coloured, N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' depicting a detailed illustration of a house and swastika-sunburst surrounded by the text: 'Zur Errichtung der Kreisführerschule - Ratibor - 1934'
The very attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in darker-toned, golden-bronze-coloured- (ie. tin-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been simply nicely preserved over the years. The (circular-shaped- and medium-sized) badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains truly all of its minimally tarnished, golden-bronze coloured finish. It shows a detailed illustration of a house (in the woods) coupled with a swastika-sunburst surrounded by the text: 'Zur Errichtung der Kreisführerschule - Ratibor - 1934'. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or: 'Gau'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a neat - and actually not that often seen! - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
