Interesting, aluminium-based WH (Heeres) ie. 'mot. Artillerie'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation: '11.Batt.S.Mot.A.R. 263' and that comes together with its 1945-dated agenda (ie. 'Kalender') as stored for decades
This is an intersting small-sized grouping comprising of a bright-silver-coloured- and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Heeres-) ie. 'mot. Artillerie'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '11.Batt.S.Mot.A.R. 263' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem - intended for a soldier (or: NCO) who served within the: '11. Kompanie des schweren' (ie. heavy) and 'motorisiertes' (ie. motorised) artillery-regiment numbered: '263') and a neat (and surely unusually seen!) agenda (ie. 'Kalender für das Jahr 1945') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc comes in an overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat 'torn-out' holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc also shows the soldiers'-blood-group-type (Type 'A') as is clearly stamped onto its front (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). Of specific interest is, moreover, the fact that the agenda (ie. 'Kalender') bears some entries amongst which the designation of the ID-disc can be noticed: both pieces were always together and will of course also be sold as a two-pieced grouping. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres-) ie. 'mot. Artillerie'-related ID-disc (set) that would merit some investigative work and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
