Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period- (ie. This is an attractive - and/or fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. pre-) war-period (ie. 'M36 o. 40'-pattern), neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Divisionsstabs des 22. Infanterie-Divisions' (or: sergeant who served within the divisional-headquarters of the 22nd infantry-division) and that comes in overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 10,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern', dark-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and shows the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps show the ('standard-early-pattern'), bright-silver-coloured NCO-braid attached and show each a: (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized- and/or I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'D'-cypher, a set of four (zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based- and smaller-sized) '2'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and two (regular-sized- and aluminium-based) pips attached, denoting that the pair was intended for an NCO with the rank of: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). All eight devices do show some regular age and/or minimal tarnish (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair is entirely based of so-called: 'boiled wool' and is in my opinion a typical 'tailor-made'-pair. It comes mounted onto its functional tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1939/1940 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a private-household in Germany where it was found together with the neat EM-type shoulderstrap-pair I offer under nr. #57655: both pairs originated from the same soldier ie. NCO who kept and stored these pairs for decades. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair: I deem that I priced this attractive pair according to its very nice and untouched condition!
