Superb example of an: 'Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter - Zweite Stufe' (or: silver-class mothers'-cross) that comes mounted onto its long-sized ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnit') and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition
I recently uncovered five - fully identical and truly very nicely preserved! - specimen of the German WWII-period, so-called: 'Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter - Zweite Stufe' (or: silver-class mothers'-crosses) all examples coming in an overall very nice- (ie. truly 'stonemint- ie. unissued'-), condition. All five awards are - as stated above - very attractive and enamelled specimen that come all mounted onto their (long-sized- ie. approximately 60 cms. long-sized) ribbon and that were simply never used nor issued. The awards have a fully preserved silver-toned age-patina and have of course a pristine (ie. fully undamaged), enamelled surface. Some minimal age, dust ie. staining is, however, visible and/or present, simply caused by decades of storage only. The pieces have most certainly never been cleaned nor polished and therefore are details and/or finish still very nice and/or crisp. The pieces might show some (minimal) bluish-coloured tarnish simply caused by having been exposed to sunlight (as can be seen on the pictures). They come all five still packed in their period piece of thin-shaped and/or white- (ie. brownish-) coloured 'wrapping-paper' as delivered by the producing-company: they were never unpacked and come as found with the long-sized ribbon still 'wrapped-around' them (as can be seen on the pictures). My asking-price is naturally intended for a single cross. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a truly 'minty' example of an: 'Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter - Zweite Stufe' for a competitive price!
