Superb - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres), early-war-period (ie. This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless rarely seen! - WH (Heeres) (I deem) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie.: 'M40'-model- ie. rounded-styled) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Infanterie-Regiments der Grossdeutschland-Division' (or: sergeant who served within an infantry-related unit within the famous 'Grossdeutschland'-Division) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard'-pattern- and/or darker-green-coloured- (ie. smooth-woolen-based) 'upperdeck' - has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 11 cms. in length - comes mounted onto its original tongue as to be expected and shows the (typical standard-pattern) silver-toned NCO-braid attached. The strap shows a silverish-toned- and/or 'Buntmetall'-based 'GD'-cypher (and equally based pip) attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the 'GD'-cypher retains its original prongs in place. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that the 'cypher' is of the (rarely seen and somewhat smaller-sized!) so-called: 'Prinzengrösse'. The strap shows - as stated above - clear usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible as can be seen on the pictures). The strap is of the typical, 'standard-issued'-pattern and is NOT a privately-purchased strap. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and most certainly desirable! - NCO-type, 'Infanterie'-related GD-shoulderstrap: I deem that this attractive specimen is accordingly priced!
