This is an interesting - albeit clearly damaged ie. 'relic-style' - WH (Heeres), early-war-period- (and aluminium-based) shoulderstrap-'cypher' as was intended for usage by an NCO serving within the: 'Grossdeutschland-Division' and that comes as most certainly issued and/or worn. The piece - which was I deem clearly 'ground-dug' - is constructed from (typical) aluminium-based metal and does show obvious age, wear and/or corroded areas: it has regrettably also lost both its prongs (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem it, however, still a neat and interesting piece that comes in a still collectible condition!
