Neat, WH (KM ie. 'Küstenartillerie') rank-chevron (ie. 'Gefreitenwinkel') as was intended for an: 'Obergefreiter' as was intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured, naval: 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics
This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - WH (Kriegsmarine ie. 'Küstenartillerie'-related) rank-chevron (ie. 'Gefreitenwinkel') as was specifically intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured, naval: 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics being an example that is executed in the 'Alter Art'- (ie. old-style-) pattern as was intended for usage by an: 'Obergefreiter' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or I deem once-tunic-attached-), condition. The chevron is executed on typical field-grey-coloured wool and shows a single stripe of the typical (interwoven!) golden-toned 'Küstenartillerie'-style NCO-braid with above that a single pip. The piece is executed in detailed machine-embroidery as is more often seen and was once glued into an album or scrap-book (as can be seen on the pictures). It is, however, not 'backed' and does show some minimal fraying on its sides. It should be noted that these neat naval rank-chevrons are with certainty not that easily encountered if needed. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a scarcely encountered naval-related rank-chevron!
