This is an attractive - and fully matching! - pair of officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bars (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by an officer holding the rank of: 'Oberleutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Obersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant first-class) being both printed examples as executed in 'standard-pattern', linnen-based material and that come both in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The pieces - which are of the 'printed pattern' as executed in black on a bright-green-coloured and/or silk-like, linnen-based background - shows a single oakleaf-bar and two square-sized bars signifying that these patches were intended for usage by an officer holding the rank of: 'Oberleutnant' ie.: 'Waffen-SS Obersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant first-class). Both pieces are just a tiny bit stained caused by decades of storage but are nevertheless simply very nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not that often encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bars!
