Unusual, typical 'molded', silver-coloured (and I deem 'zinc'-based) so-called: patriotic 'door-plaque' depicting an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' that is showing the text: 'Mit Gott für König und Vaterland 1813'
This is a neat - and with certainty unusually found! - typical 'molded'-style, silver-coloured (ie. painted) and I deem 'zinc'-based, so-called: patriotic 'door-plaque' depicting an: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' that is showing the text: 'Mit Gott für König und Vaterland 1813' on its front and comes in an overall nice condtion. The attractive - and medium-sized plaque that measures approximately 6,5 x 6,2 cms. - depicts the typical iron-cross-symbol and shows the text: 'Mit Gott für König und Vaterland 1813' as mentioned above. The plaque shows eight tiny holes for screwing the plaque to a doorpost (or alike). The piece shows no damage whatsoever and has very nice and pronouned detail. It retains a nice 'age-patina' and shows some minimal age and/or wear caused by having been handled ie. used over the years. Simply a decorative, patriotic 'Eisernes Kreuz'-related door-plaque!
