The attractive - fairly rarely encountered and naturally steel-based - belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Mannschaften u. Unterführer der Waffen-SS') comes in a clearly (ie. moderately) used- and/or worn condition and has lost most of its original-applied silver-coloured finish: just some of its colour is still present (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was with certainty clearly used and/or worn (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows some minimal dirt and/or evident (rust) staining (it has however most certainly not been recently polished nor cleaned). The buckle has still a very detailed appearance and retains a very nice and/or decent, somewhat tarnished age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle is a typical 'J.F.S.'-marked and thus by the: 'Josef Feix'-company produced example that is clearly stamped on its back (as is always encountered with buckles by this desirable maker). As certainly known are these original steel-based, SS buckles nowadays getting really hard to find, especially if one prefers such a neat and/or moderately used 'J.F.S.'-marked example as the one on offer here!
