Unusual, commemorative and typical zinc-based (ie. copper-finished) golden-coloured, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related 'tinnie' being a non-maker marked example bearing the text: 'SA-Brigade 77 - Besicht. d. Stabs-Chef Röhm 13.Mai 1934'
The neat - and most certainly not that often seen! - early-period day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (minimally tarnished) zinc-based (ie. copper-finished) golden-coloured metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been simply nicely preserved over the years. The square-shaped badge - that measures only 3.8 x 3.8 cms. - comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- (ie. pin/catch-set-up) and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains truly all of its minimally tarnished, golden-coloured finish. It shows a detailed illustration of a swastika-device coupled with the SA-logo that shows the above-mentioned text ie. date in the arms of the swastika. It should be noted that all SA-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or: 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a neat - and with certainty not that often seen! - SA-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
