Single, later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, simplified WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the bright-yellow-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Truppen'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern- and typical simplified WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Truppen' (or: simple soldier who served within the army signal-troops) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. minimally worn-), condition. The shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length as more often seen - has the neat 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstrap - which originates from a larger cloth- and insignia-collection I recently acquired for the web-site - is constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material (like the typical Italian wool ie. aka 'drap Orti' as can be seen in the pictures). The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern-, EM-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, bright-yellow- (ie. 'zitronengelbener'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book'!, M44-pattern EM-type 'Nachrichten'-shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat der Nachrichten-Truppen'!
