Neat, air-raid-warden service-medal second-class (or: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe') being a clearly maker- (ie. '60'-) marked- and/or typical 'regular-weight'-example as was executed in typical, greyish-silver-toned zinc (ie. 'Feinzink')
The attractive - and typical 'regular-weight' - award came together with its full length (ie. non-confectioned, pre-folded- and approximately 19 cms.-sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and comes in an overall nice- (albeit I deem issued- albeit never worn- nor even mounted-), condition. The medal - that shows the clear makers'-designation: '60' stamped into its (aluminium-based) ring - is a typical example that was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Katz & Doehle' as was based in the town of Pforzheim. Both award and ribbon do show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage but do retain great pronounced detail without showing any defaults whatsoever. Simply a very attractive example of this air-raid-warden service-medal second-class (or: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe') that will be hard to be upgraded and that is accordingly priced!
