The neat - albeit non-marker-marked- and so-called: 'light-weight'-pattern award - comes mounted onto its regular-sized (and neatly pre-confectioned- and/or pre-folded- ie. approximately 10 cms. sized) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem issued- ie. minimally worn-), condition. The medal - that is void of a makers'-designation as more often was most certainly issued and/or moderately worn as such (both medal and ribbon do show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by years of storage and or minimal wear) but retains great pronounced detail without showing any defaults whatsoever. The ribbon still shows its period (copper-toned) attachment-clip (intended to wear it on a tunic). Simply an attractive example of this air-raid-warden service-medal second-class (or: 'Luftschutz-Ehrenzeichen 2. Stufe') that will be hard to be upgraded!
