Unusually seen, commemorative DAF/NSBO- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate the: 'Einweihung der N.S.B.O. Landesschule Bayern - 19. November 1933 - Neuburg'
This is an attractive - and actually unusually seen! - DAF/NSBO- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'- ie. 'Nationalsozialistische Betriebszellenorganisation') related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) related event named the: 'Einweihung der N.S.B.O. Landesschule Bayern - 19. November 1933 - Neuburg a. Donau' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows the DAF- (ie. N.S.B.O.-) device (ie. hammer and cog-wheel) above a schools-building and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The shield-shaped and somewhat larger-sized badge (having an approximate height of 5,6 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, DAF/NSBO-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
