Superb - fully matching and scarcely found! - pair of WH (Heeres) - I deem - mid-war-period- (ie. 'M41/M43'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel einer Sanitäts-Abteilungs'
This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M41/M43'-pattern) shoulderstraps as piped in the darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an NCO (ie. 'Feldwebel' or: sergeant ie. senior medical-orderly) who served within a: 'Heeres Sanitäts-Abteilung' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat straps are just moderately used and/or worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining but are void of any (real) damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show the desirable darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping and measure approximately 11,9 cms. in length each. The pieces show the 'standard'-pattern (truly sub-dued) bluish-grey-coloured, NCO-braid and two (zinc-based and somewhat tarnished) pips period-attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair is constructed from the typical field-grey-coloured wool and is with certainty a: 'standard-issued'- (ie. non-tailor-made) pair. These type of shoulderstraps are of the typical mid-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1941/1943 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). This particular pair originated from a larger cloth- ie. shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive - and with certainty desirable! - 'Sanitäter'-related NCO-type 'Heeres' shoulderstrap-pair: I deem that I priced this attractive pair according to its overall very nice and totally untouched condition!
