This is a very attractive - and with certainty desirable! - TR-item: a nowadays not that often seen (and neatly medium- ie. smaller-sized!) WH (Kriegsmarine) WWII-type, so-called: 'Reichskriegsflagge o. Fahne' being a: 135 x 80 cms.-sized- and/or clearly maker- (ie. 'Loroni Summa Söhne - Oberkotzau'-) marked example that comes in a wonderful- (and I deem only minimally used-), condition. The piece is neatly ink-stamped on its border with the text: 'Kr.Fl. 80 x 135' and shows on the other side the inked makers'-designation that reads: 'Loroni Summa Söhne - Oberkotzau' (as can be seen on the pictures). The flag retains both its cord-based loops (something that is not always the case). These attractive 'Reichskriegsflaggen' showing an IC-symbol in the upper-corner rank amongst the most searched-after TR-flag-types and were 'standard-issue' on various KM-vessels. These medium- (ie. smaller-) sized 'RK-Fahnen' (or: battle-flags) are the most desirable of the series and are actually nowadays not that easily encountered. This example shows very bright- and/or vidid colours and does hardly show any age nor wear: it is void of any damage or alike and is just minimally stained caused by decades of storage only (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive example of a naval 'Reichskriegsfahne' that will be very hard to be upgraded!
