This is an attractive - and neatly machine-embroidered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as was executed in golden-yellow-toned linnen on a darker-blue-coloured backing as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Küstenartillerie-Personal' (or: coastal-artillery-staff) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem probably issued- albeit never used- nor even tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various darker-blue-coloured, naval ie. 'Kriegsmarine'-tunics - depicts a 'winged shell'-device (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only and is neatly additionally backed with a piece of greyish-coloured duck.
