This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of an early- (ie. '1935'-) pattern so-called: 'DLV' (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verbandes') metal- (ie. typical nickle-chrome-) based belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Uffz. u. Mannschaften des Deutscher Luftsport Verbandes') that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- and/or surely worn-), condition. The metal- (ie. typical nickle-chrome) based belt-buckle (showing a 'first model' so-called: 'drooped winged'-eagle-device) retains a fully preserved (black-painted) swastika-area and shows a nicely preserved silver-toned finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is very detailed and truly retains great, pronounced detail overall. It is just moderately used and/or worn and does show some minimal age, staining and/or wear (especially on its back as can be seen on the pictures). This particular buckle orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive - and truly 'early-period- and/or: Luftwaffe-related'! - so-called: 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband'-belt buckle that is with certainty accordingly priced!
