Attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'Narvik'-campaign-shield being a detailed example as was executed in silverish-grey-toned zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink') and that comes in a never worn- nor tunic-attached-), condition

This is an attractive - and actually quite scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres o. Luftwaffe) 'Narvik'-campaign-shield being a very detailed example as was executed in (typical) silverish-grey-toned (and of course non-magnetic) zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based metal and that comes in a (presumably) issued- (albeit - I deem - never worn- nor even tunic-attached-), condition. The (naturally non-magnetic) shield misses it 'back-plate' and cloth and retains three (of its four) period-mounted prongs in place (which are all three present and functional as can be seen on the pictures). The shield shows some normal aging and/or moderate tarnish caused by years of storage but has nevertheless retained extraordinary detail. Most of its silverish-grey-toned finish has been nicely preserved as is not always the case (as can be seen on the pictures). The shield was with certainty never cleaned nor polished and comes as recently found in the US: I deem that it is a typical piece that is more often found on so-called: 'Mustertafel'. Simply a very attractive - and naturally 100% garuanteed original! - 'Heeres o. Luftwaffe'-pattern 'Narvik'-campaign-shield that is priced according to its unmistaken scarcity and/or desirability!
