Unusually seen, commemorative TR-period day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate a DAF-related (?) gathering named the: 'Werbung deutsche Bühne - Kassel - 26. & 27.8.1933'
This is an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - typical TR-period- and possibly DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific gathering (held in the town of Kassel) named the: 'Werbung deutsche Bühne - 26. & 27.8.1933' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced (circular-shaped) badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows a mask and a musical-instrument and is surrounded with the text as mentioned-above. The piece was never cleaned nor polished and retains it somewhat shiny appearance as issued. The circular-shaped and somewhat smalled-sized badge (having a diameter of approximately 3,8 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, (presumably) DAF-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
