Attractive, early- (ie. most certainly pre-war-) period 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and/or machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career patch as was worn to signify (former) membership within this organisation
This is a nicely executed example of a: 'Deutsches Luftsport Verband'- (ie. DLV-) related- and machine-embroidered, so-called: special-career-patch (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended to signify (former) membership within this organisation and that comes in an overall nice- (and - I deem - only moderately used- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The DLV was an in the year 1933 formed organisation and was Germany's first move to establish the (later formed) airforce, the 'Luftwaffe'. The 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen' on offer here was only worn for a short period of time. The patch comes in an overall nice and only minimally worn and/or carefully tunic-removed condition. The patch is neatly machine-embroidered in greyish-white-coloured linnen on a bluish-grey coloured- (and/or woolen-based) background (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - 'DLV'-related trade- ie. special-career-patch!
