Unusually seen, commemorative DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate a DAF-related gathering named the: 'Generalappell der Augsburger Arbeitsfront'
This is an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - DAF- (ie. 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront'-) related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') that was issued to commemorate a specific DAF-gathering (held in the town of Augsburg) named the: 'Generalappell der Augsburger Arbeitsfront' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in golden-bronze-toned- and - I deem- typical tin-based metal - shows the DAF-device (ie. hammer with swastika). The piece - which is unusually void of a date - was (I deem) once cleaned ie. polished (but this has been done long time ago). The shield-shaped and somewhat larger-sized badge (measuring approximately 5 x 3,3 cms.) is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, DAF-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
